Coming Full Circle
Living the Fruits of my Labors

When I began working with families so many years ago, I had no idea where this career would take me. In fact, it wasn’t even a career choice at that point, it was a way to keep my young daughter close and navigate all of the things I needed to do for her while still making a living. Working in daycare, I had a place for her to go that was near me and near her school for after school care. Beginning as a nanny, I was able to pick her up from school and have her with me over summer and other school vacations. It wasn’t until she got older and didn’t need so much hands on care from me that I realized I loved what I was doing and didn’t want to do anything else!
Nannying for me started with families who usually had 2 children, typically a baby and a toddler. After working in classrooms with multiple children, this seemed like an easy jump! Little did I know the skills I would develop to truly meet a family where they are and learn to really hear their needs. Serving in so many ways to become a flexible, moving, and integral piece of a family unit, a family that is not yours, is really a very unique gift. Fast forward from there, I began to take on families with multiples, my very first being newborn triplets! After that I had many many sets of twins I cared for and also began to expand my services to household management and serving some clients as a family assistant. All of these roles taught me a new piece of the puzzle that is caring for families in a whole and complete package.
Today I pour all of these skills into the work I am privileged to do which is still nannying twins, caring for families and newborns postpartum, and now offering consults in person and virtually to help along the way from infancy to toddlerhood and beyond. There are so many questions that I myself have had to troubleshoot in working with so many different babies and young toddlers, navigating multiples, creating routines, and more. Now I get to share all of this knowledge with families to make their journey as painless and streamlined as possible so they can optimally spend as much quality time as possible with their beautiful children. Every single parent, child, and situation I have navigated in the past has taught me something that I use today. This path long ago has truly and finally come full circle to become my future, and I couldn’t be more excited or grateful!
